With the development of psycholinguistics and teaching methodology , more and more experts and teachers come to realize the value of after - class activities in elt . however , quite a few articles about after - class activities only deal with the categorization and listing of the various types of activities . hence there is still much room for more comprehensive and deeper study of the necessity , status and functions of after - class activities in elt 隨著心理語言學和英語教學法的發展,英語課外活動的價值為越來越多的學者和教師所關注,出現了不少有關課外活動的文章,但其主要內容多半僅限于對課外活動的內容和形式的分類和列舉,在理論方面對課外活動在英語教學中的必要性、地位和作用尚未作全面、深入的探討,而且實證性的研究做得還很不夠,因而許多教師對課外活動的重要性缺乏深刻的認識,而且對于如何開展課外活動缺乏實際操作經驗。

Therefore , with the use of theories in language education for the preschool children , foreign language teaching and psycholinguistics , this dissertation made an investigation on the present situation of english education in sixteen kindergartens in the main urban districts in chongqing , aiming to find out the main problems in english education in the kindergartens in chongqing and to analyze the causes of these problems . to counter these problems and their causes , this dissertation has also proposed some tentative countermeasure to develop english education in the kindergartens in chongqing 加強幼兒園英語教育研究是社會發展對幼兒園教育的要求,但長期以來,我國對幼兒園英語教育的研究比較薄弱,本文運用學前兒童語言教育論、外語教學論、心理語言學有關理論,對重慶市主城區16所幼兒園英語教育的現狀進行了調查,找出重慶市幼兒園英語教育中存在的問題,分析了問題的成因,提出了重慶市幼兒園英語教育的對策構想。
