Mesoscale model simulations have been performed of a severe thunderstorm that occurred on 22 - 23 august 2001 in huabei area in china . combing with satellite , doppler radar images and general weather observations , the evolution mechanism of the severe thunderstorm is analysed with emphasis on the orographic effect of taihang mountain 將模擬的云、風、壓場和降水與實況資料進行對比檢驗,在控制模擬效果較為理想的情況下,結合衛星、 doppler雷達觀測和常規天氣資料,對整個對流風暴的發展演變過程進行分析,并著重對強對流風暴發生演變的熱力、動力機制以及重力波特征進行了研究。

As such , suitable forecasting tools are needed to encompass the full range of vastly different meteorological factors over a broad range of spatial scales , from synoptic systems over the expanse of the continent down to local systems arising from orographic influence 要掌握大如天氣尺度系統、小如區內地形效應等不同尺度氣象因素的萬千變化,必須依仗合適的預報工具。

The results show that model resolution is crucial to the precipitation forecast , and orographic accuracy is found to be essential to both the location and the amount of the precipitation for this case 通過一系列不同模式分辨率和不同精確度地形高度的敏感性實驗,發現模式的分辨率對降水的預報起決定作用,同時,地形的精確度也可以改變降水的分布和強度。

Besides , the upward motion on the aweather slope of main mountains of zhoushan archipelago can induce more precipitation and orographic highs 另外,氣流爬越島嶼的主要山脈時的上升運動,會導致迎風坡的降水增多,并誘生中小尺度的地形高壓。
