This dissertation is dedicated to the algorithm research of image registration applied to navigation . information such as attitude angle of aircraft is used to emendate the large - geometry - distorted image , so the research of this dissertation is based on the hypothesis that images used have small geometry distortion 針對圖像匹配在導航中的應用，提出了對于存在大的幾何失真的圖像利用飛行器本身信息進行幾何校正的方法，所以本文算法的研究都是基于小的幾何失真這一假設的。
Moreover , aiming at the location of inclined license plate , we have proposed the algorithm based on gray changing characteristic and orientation field . in this section , we discussed in detail the application of mathematical morphology operator in rough locating objective region and introduced the theory and realization method of orientation field . then we used it to detect inclined angel of objective region , finally we can precisely locate and emendate the inclined license plate based on detection result , and so we provided the favorable foundation for segmenting character 此外針對傾斜車牌區域的定位分割問題，提出了基于灰度變化特性和方向場計算的定位算法，其中詳細討論了數學形態學算子在目標區域粗定位中的應用，重點介紹了方向場計算理論和實現方法，并將其應用于目標區域傾斜角度的檢測，根據檢測得到的結果進行了傾斜車牌區域的準確定位和校正，為后續的字符分割打下良好的基礎。
