[ bbe ] the lord god of israel has said , see , i am turning back the instruments of war in your hands , with which you are fighting against the king of babylon and the chaldaeans , who are outside the walls and shutting you in ; and i will get them together inside this town 耶和華以色列的神如此說，我要使你們手中的兵器，就是你們在城外與巴比倫王和圍困你們的迦勒底人打仗的兵器翻轉過來，又要使這些都聚集在這城中。
The lord god of israel has said , see , i am turning back the instruments of war in your hands , with which you are fighting against the king of babylon and the chaldaeans , who are outside the walls and shutting you in ; and i will get them together inside this town 耶和華以色列的神如此說，我要使你們手中的兵器，就是你們在城外與巴比倫王和圍困你們的迦勒底人打仗的兵器翻轉過來，又要使這些都聚集在這城中。
So he sent against them the king of the chaldaeans , who put their young men to death with the sword in the house of their holy place , and had no pity for any , young man or virgin , old man or white - haired : god gave them all into his hands 所以耶和華使迦勒底人的王來攻擊他們、在他們圣殿里用刀殺了他們的壯丁、不憐恤他們的少男處女、老人白叟耶和華將他們都交在迦勒底王手里。
[ bbe ] and gedaliah , the son of ahikam , the son of shaphan , took an oath to them and their men , saying , have no fear of the servants of the chaldaeans : go on living in the land , and become the servants of the king of babylon , and all will be well 沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓說，不要怕服事迦勒底人，只管住在這地，服事巴比倫王，就可以得福。
And gedaliah , the son of ahikam , the son of shaphan , took an oath to them and their men , saying , have no fear of the servants of the chaldaeans : go on living in the land , and become the servants of the king of babylon , and all will be well 沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓說，不要怕服事迦勒底人，只管住在這地，服事巴比倫王，就可以得福。
The babylonians and all the chaldaeans , pekod and shoa and koa , and all the assyrians with them : young men to be desired , captains and rulers all of them , and chiefs , her neighbours , all of them on horseback 所來的就是巴比倫人，迦勒底的眾人，比割人，書亞人，哥亞人，同著他們的還有亞述眾人，乃是作省長，副省長，作軍長有名聲的，都騎著馬，是可愛的少年人。
But in the seventh month , ishmael , the son of nethaniah , the son of elishama , of the king ' s seed , came with ten men and made an attack on gedaliah , causing his death and the death of the jews and the chaldaeans who were with him at mizpah 七月間宗室以利沙瑪的孫子尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利帶著十個人來殺了基大利和同他在米斯巴的猶大人、與迦勒底人。

But when the god of heaven was moved to wrath by our fathers , he gave them up into the hands of nebuchadnezzar , king of babylon , the chaldaean , who sent destruction on this house and took the people away into babylon 只因我們列祖惹天上的神發怒，神把他們交在迦勒底人，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他就拆毀這殿，又將百姓擄到巴比倫。
This is what the lord , the god of israel , has said : like these good figs , so in my eyes will be the prisoners of judah , whom i have sent from this place into the land of the chaldaeans for their good 耶和華以色列的神如此說，被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顧他們如這好無花果，使他們得好處。
[ bbe ] then gedaliah gave his oath to them and their men , saying , have no fear because of the servants of the chaldaeans ; go on living in the land under the rule of the king of babylon , and all will be well 基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓、說、你們不必懼怕迦勒底臣仆、只管住在這地、服事巴比倫王、就可以得福。
Then gedaliah gave his oath to them and their men , saying , have no fear because of the servants of the chaldaeans ; go on living in the land under the rule of the king of babylon , and all will be well 基大利向他們和屬他們的人起誓、說、你們不必懼怕迦勒底臣仆、只管住在這地、服事巴比倫王、就可以得福。
[ bbe ] for even if you had overcome all the army of the chaldaeans fighting against you , and there were only wounded men among them , still they would get up , every man in his tent , and put this town on fire 你們即便殺敗了與你們爭戰的迦勒底全軍，但剩下受傷的人也必各人從帳棚里起來，用火焚燒這城。
[ bbe ] but baruch , the son of neriah , is moving you against us , to give us up into the hands of the chaldaeans so that they may put us to death , and take us away prisoners into babylon 這是尼利亞的兒子巴錄挑唆你害我們，要將我們交在迦勒底人的手中，使我們有被殺的，有被擄到巴比倫去的。
[ bbe ] and king zedekiah said to jeremiah , i am troubled on account of the jews who have gone over to the chaldaeans , for fear that they may give me up to them and they will put me to shame 西底家王對耶利米說，我怕那些投降迦勒底人的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人將我交在他們手中，他們戲弄我。
But baruch , the son of neriah , is moving you against us , to give us up into the hands of the chaldaeans so that they may put us to death , and take us away prisoners into babylon 這是尼利亞的兒子巴錄挑唆你害我們，要將我們交在迦勒底人的手中，使我們有被殺的，有被擄到巴比倫去的。
And king zedekiah said to jeremiah , i am troubled on account of the jews who have gone over to the chaldaeans , for fear that they may give me up to them and they will put me to shame 西底家王對耶利米說，我怕那些投降迦勒底人的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人將我交在他們手中，他們戲弄我。
The word of the lord came to me , ezekiel the priest , the son of buzi , in the land of the chaldaeans by the river chebar ; and the hand of the lord was on me there 3在迦勒底人之地、迦巴魯河邊、耶和華的話特特臨到布西的兒子祭司以西結耶和華的靈原文作手降在他身上。
