I used to ignore cuckoos , and generally pass them all off as “ orientals ” on account of their being so difficult to observe ( usually only seen flying away through the trees with a couple of screaming chinese bulbuls in tow ) , i reckon that they are as big a test of one ' s patience as they are of one ' s id skills 我過去曾忽略杜鵑科的鳥,而且通常把它們全部歸類為“中杜鵑“ (筒鳥) ,因為它們是如此難以觀察(常常只被看到飛走穿過樹叢,伴隨著幾只尖叫的白頭翁) ,我想它們是對耐性同時也是對辨識技巧的一大考驗 |
